about the blazers

For far too long, girls have been pushed to the margins of a sport they love, often steered toward softball as an alternative. Softball is a wonderful sport with its own rich history and community, but it’s not the same as baseball. For girls who dream of playing baseball—the game they see on TV, in the major leagues, and in their local ballparks—they deserve the opportunity to play that game, on those fields, with the same passion and respect.

We offer open practices where girls of all skill levels are welcome—whether they’re just starting out or have been playing for years. Our ultimate goal is to build teams that will compete in the Baseball for All National Tournament in the summer of 2026, giving girls the chance to play with and against other girls who share their love for the game.

We aim to create competitive teams to play in the Baseball for All National Tournament. We encourage you to explore Baseball for All at www.baseballforall.com.

We also encourage girls to continue playing in their local Little League, travel teams, or softball if that’s where their passion lies. Our focus is to support all girls who want to play baseball, regardless of where they choose to compete.

At the Daytona Blazers, we prioritize access to baseball. We focus on developing technical baseball skills while fostering a positive, supportive atmosphere where girls can form lasting friendships and enjoy the game together.

We also believe in accessibility. By keeping costs low and being a 501c3 nonprofit, we aim to ensure that financial barriers don’t stop any girl from playing baseball.

Join us as we celebrate the love of the game. Whether it’s with the Blazers or another team, girls belong in baseball. Period.
